Come Hither.

Super massive black hole.
Have you ever wondered about the things we tell ourselves before we fall asleep?
We whisper the words in the dark, telling ourselves that we're happy,
or that he's happy, that people will change their minds.
We persuade ourselves that we can live without the people who have left.
Each night, before we fall asleep,
we lie to ourselves in a desperate hope,
that come morning, it will all be true.
Well, there's only so many times you can allow someone to let you down
before you can't handle the disappointment anymore.
There's a point in life where you get tired of chasing everyone,
trying to fix things, but this is not called giving up.
Eventually, you've got to do what's right for you,
even if it hurts.
So I burned every bridge that ever led me to you.
And here I am, the moon isn't shining nearly as bright as it should be.
I can barely hear you anymore.
That's a good deed done - for you.
Once people are broken in certain ways,
they can never be fixed,
and this is something that nobody ever tells you when you are young,
and it never fails to surprise you as you grow older.
You will see people in your life break, one by one.
Have you ever seen a robin weep
when the leaves begin to die?
