Take a step forward.
I would have taken things slow. Because so used to writing potential beginnings, but look, the beginnings are right where things ended.
I'm trying. Every morning, I awake, and lead a new day of growth. I try. Everyday. I try. I try to change and to learn. Why do you think I'm standing here, a brick in the road, cemented down into the concrete?
Unmovable. Stubborn. Stuck.
I'm not, because, instead, I try. Maybe I haven't had the best track record, but things are always changing for me these days.
And I awoke this morning, convinced our exchange
of comments yesterday was just a dream.
On this Valentine's Day, I just wonder
how many people never get the one they want,
but end up with the one they’re supposed to have.
