It's true, look how they shine for you.
"It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of ANNABEL LEE;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.
I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea;
But we loved with a love that was more than love-
I and my Annabel Lee;
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.
And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsman came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
Went envying her and me-
Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we-
Of many far wiser than we-
And neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.
For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,
In the sepulchre there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea."

I haven been sleeping proper lately, having drift in and out of sleep. And I can't even differentiate if the main cause of it is due to excessively redundant vitality, or I have simply switched to functioning on screen-saver mode unknowingly. Anyway, that isn't important.
My body's aching for a long, cold shower, and I desperately need coffee to calm the nerves. All I need right now, is seclusion in a coffee house, an engaging book, and perhaps a large smoothie to compliment the terrible, terrible weather. Perhaps during this month of May, maybe June even, it is a combination of heat in the early morning, gray skies after noon, rain around mid noon, and the heat returns in the late evening, starting the night with humidity, lasting till dawn. Vicious cycle, this one.
Sigh, I'm done lamenting about the weather. Both the papers and weather forecasts are equally depressing, and I wonder why the nation's full of pessimistic citizens. Blame the press, I say. Denial could be proven a better tool eventually, amidst simultaneous crisis.
I have a reason for not touching papers with ugly frontal coverage. And no, honestly, publishing useless local celebrities' wedding pictures, I don't see how that would ease the tension.
How naive.
"Among other things, you'll find that you're not the first person who was ever confused and frightened and even sickened by the human behavior. You're by no means alone on that score, you'll be excited and stimulated to know. Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. Happily, some of them kept records of their troubles. You'll learn from them, if you want to. Just as some day, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you. It's a beautiful reciprocal arrangement. And it isn't education. It's history. It's poetry."
